The entire time we've lived in Redmond we have never ventured in to Seattle to see any of the city parks. WWe thought it was time to change that and today we went to Discovery park. It is on a peninsula so there is a lovely view of the water but with my pregnant self and how tired I get lately we didn't want to make the climb up after the climb down, so we skipped the water bit.
The WAS a lookout however at the top, but it turned out that since it had been built, trees had grown up in front of it so all one looked out over was trees.
However, the walk there and back was lovely and we did manage to find some fascinating trees along the way. I give you Discovery Park in February.
